It's raining, but work continues...

Preparing for clipping the front corner
The floor is cut back to the new floor plan
From the back, looking towards the front.  The floor cut back with the new excavation (not completed).  Look for the faint yellow line nearer the blue wheelbarrow.  That's where the excavation will end.
In the old entryway looking out over the entryway landing rubble and to the growing pile of rubble.
The reverse picture from the previous.  Beth is on the prowl for nails (she's holding a magnet sweep).  Mark just replaced a nearly new $400 tire that was flatted with a nail.  :-(

Erasing the rafters

Whoa, what happened to the back of the house?
Digging out the crawl space for the addition
In the foreground is dirt haul box.  Alex is standing in the old family room.  The square hole is where the old fireplace. On the other side of the old fireplace was the old living room.
Let's see... on the driveway, looking towards the garage.  You can see the backyard and the big house behind.
From the front, looking towards the back.  The missing roof really opens things up!
 Taking out the old entry
Roof rubble and back of the old house.

Down to the bones

Removed the inside and outside walls.
We can see through to the back yard.
 Roof removal has started too.
Alex is practicing her back yard pose
The roof was cut in strips, leaving the rafters
Enjoying a pretend meal in the future breakfast nook.
The old place looks very different now.
 The old master bedroom
The old master bath shower
