How are you enjoying the house now? Anyway, I just really like one particular detail: the skylight above the stairwell. I think it’s a cool accent for a busy structure, like the stairs. It might actually be a little cinematic, especially at night, when you suddenly look up while climbing up the stairs. :D

The house is not yet complete (as can be seen from recent posts). But we're now making good headway. We got tied up with too many decisions which ended up delaying progress. An important lesson: Don't procrastinate on decisions like cabinetry. Especially kitchen cabinetry. Rough plumbing and electrical get backed up behind it.
