April 7: Weather cleared, roof rafters, and demo of old stairs

The old master being framed from the inside.  Shown is the door frame for the new slider for the guest room.

This is the door frame and window for the laundry room. On the left is where the old stairs were located.  The grid of joists are for the extra support under the washer and dryer.

Looks mostly the same from this view, but it's dry.  Although, the skylight framing can be seen in the kitchen (on the left) and the new roof rafters can be seen peeking through the framing.

A clear view of the new roof rafters.  This is the start over the living room.  The roof is a bit complicated so there is much thought put into it.

We've got to figure out electrical plug placement along this wall.

Need to do the same here.  This wall is covered because it's part of the 50%.

This is the framing in the entry hall.  The ceiling starts high, then drops.

The entryway is getting more framing.  There is a temporary floor part way up for the crew to stand on.

Roof rafters over the living room. This is the side entrance from the driveway.

I got up on a tall ladder to take this picture.  The kitchen is the near part of the house.

From the same ladder, this is the back corner of the kitchen from the driveway.

A view from the backyard to show the current state of construction, or destruction.
